–The House Committee on Lower & Higher Education will hold an informational
briefing to discuss international competitiveness of our education system in
room 309 at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at the State Capitol.
Michelle Exstrom, the Education Group
Director of National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) will examine the
following topics:
- Where Hawaiʻi's education system and scores compare to the rest of the country.
- Where America's education system and scores compare to the rest of the world.
