Establishes a special account in the historic preservation special fund and requires that archaeological permit fees collected be deposited into the account to cover the costs of managing the permits. Establishes an exclusion from the gross income, adjusted gross income, and taxable income of a small farmer. Specifies that the exclusion is the lesser of (1) the amount earned from the sale of agricultural products produced on land of the small farmer or tours of the agricultural operation on the land or (2) $50,000. HB286 RELATING TO AGRICULTURE
Exempts the gross income or gross proceeds from the retail or wholesale sale of a local agricultural product from the general excise tax. (TSUJI)

HB865 RELATING TO INSPECTION FEES
Increases the fee assessed for the inspection, quarantine and eradication of invasive species contained in any freight from 50 cents to $1 for every 1,000 pounds of freight brought into the State. (TSUJI)

HB709 RELATING TO HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE
Requires after 7/1/11, the use of a glottal stop in the spelling of "Hawai‘i" in all documents and signs prepared by or for state or county agencies or officials. Authorizes the revisor of statutes to change the spelling of the name of the State to include the glottal stop when preparing supplements and replacement volumes of the Hawaii Revised Statutes.
