Decision Making Scheduled on GMO Taro bill

WHAT: The House Committee on Agriculture will hold decision making to vote on SB958, SD1, HD1 Relating to Genetically Modified Organisms. The bill was heard on March 19th. The current draft imposes a 10-year moratorium on developing, testing, propagating, cultivating, growing and raising genetically engineered taro in the State of Hawaii.
