The House

The Hawaii House of Representative’s 51 members represent equal amounts of districts across the islands. They are elected by you, the people of the State of Hawaii, to represent their respective communities by addressing your needs and concerns while simultaneously managing and developing state policy.

State House Representatives propose new laws, review and amend old ones. They talk and meet with you in your communities to get feedback on important issues that will impact your lives. This blog and other social media tools has given us another way to connect with the community.

The House is led by the Speaker of the House, Representative Scott K. Saiki.
