Veterans talk to lawmakers in Kapolei

Representative Cindy Evans, Chair of the Committee on Public Safety and Military Affairs, and Vice Chair Rep. Sharon Har recently held a veterans "Talk Story" session at Kapolei High School on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The meeting was part of a statewide initiative to talk with Hawaii veterans about issues that are important them and ways that lawmakers can improve the state system and its veteran programs. Other meetings have been held on Maui and Mililani.
