"Political Leaders' Use and Abuse of Social Media"

We wanted to share an excellent TEDx talk by Matthias Lufkens, social media architect at the World Economic Forum. Very interesting examples of world leaders who use social media in varying degrees of effectiveness. I particularly liked this line:

"Our world leaders, on social networks, when they do it personally, become human and accessible, and this is something for the man-in-the-street, something absolutely revolutionary. Because, today, we can simply send them an @ mention to get in contact with them, and my wish for the TED community is that you go out and you contact your leaders on Twitter and Facebook."
