Lessons from the Rep. Anthony Weiner case

In following the disastrous fall of U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner, I heard two sets of steps of PR advice worth saving:

3 critical steps:

1. Tell it all.

2. Tell it early.

3. Tell it yourself.

4 steps to redemption:

1. Admit wrongdoing, take responsibility.

2. Apologize to those hurt by your action.

3. Vanish.

4. Return with a new focus.
