Rep. Mizuno, Rep. Cabanilla and Rep. Brower talk with homeless residents across from Kapiolani Park. An informational briefing will be held on Thursday to discuss the homeless population in Waikiki.

Like many cities across the U.S., homelessness is a huge issue. Of course, many people come to Hawaii based on the allure of a tropical paradise. They then can't find work (or are too lazy) and end up living on the streets or in parks ... It's a tough problem to deal with.
