I have visited every house on Hauiki Street, and we have signed up a devoted group of neighbors willing to participate in our Neighborhood Security Watch Program. Today, Wednesday June 18, 2008, we plan to visit neighbors on Kino Street (flanks Hauiki St.), and on Saturday, we plan on visiting the houses on Kam IV Road (other side of Hauiki St.) to sign up more neighbors to our program. We will probably have our introduction to the Neighborhood Security Watch Program class presented by HPD within the next week or so. I am hopeful we can start a Citizens patrol within the next few weeks. We are asking anyone interested in Neighborhood Security Watch Programs to contact my office at 586-6050. We would be happy to provide you with information on starting your Neighborhood Security Watch Program.
