Rep. Kyle Yamashita returned to Maui over the weekend to survey the flood damage in his district of Upcountry Maui. Here are photos of a house that had the misfortune to be directly in the path of the flood waters. The house was torn from its concrete foundation and slid about 75 yards.
Here is another angle of the house. While there were no loss of human lives, livestock was lost, and we believe that is a poor cow in the muddy foreground.
