Our House Finance committee reports that the November tax collection report is out, and it’s a mixed bag:
General Excise Taxes down -6.6%
Corporate Taxes up +8.7%
Individual Income Taxes up +3.5%
Transient Accomodation Taxes down -8.2%
All Other Taxes up +3.6%
Total Overall down -2.5%
The current Council on Revenues projection remains at -.05% for the fiscal year '09. At this point, the prior 12-month track is holding steady at -1.1%.
