House Elves Celebrate 50 Years of Statehood

Oh, the weather outside is frightful...as the song goes, but inside, the House Elves have once again come up with a Christmas Tree masterpiece.

Last year, you may recall, the elves were so excited about the upcoming Sugar Bowl that the Christmas Tree was decorated in a football theme. Colt Brennan would have been proud. "Sooooo, last year," said one elf when asked whether they still had visions of sugar bowl plums in their heads.
This year, the elves have chosen a Hawaiian theme, Celebrating 50 Years of Statehood, honoring the upcoming 50th anniversary of statehood in 2009. The tree is located outside the offices of the House Chief Clerk, Chamber Level, Hawaii State Capitol.
